This was made as a response to the 2022 federal election in Australia where independent ‘Teal’ women, received much better results than expected after a sensible, quiet and concerted campaign. Regardless of politics, I saw this as a sign of change in Australia – women’s voices were being taken note of, and seriously.

Orchids are essentially airplants – they grow on branches, in walls and crooks of trees – where their aerial roots harness moisture and nutrients from the air and surrounds. There are a myriad of species, spanning most continents and everyone has their favourites.
Considered to be delicate and exotic – my own experience of growing orchids is to treat them brutally – neglect seems to make them thrive. Maybe that’s a metaphor…Fish and coral join in the melee – like unexpected, but lively guests at a party.
