'My work explores the enduring relationship between people and the Australian landscape, not as a record of a particular place, but as an expression of how it is remembered, felt and experienced. Beginning with time spent immersed in nature, I distil observations of light, shifting seasons, trees and landforms into layered, intuitive compositions. Working on timber allows the material itself to become part of the conversation, with texture, carved marks and translucent colour revealing traces of both process and place. Rather than depicting the landscape, I seek to evoke its quiet presence-creating spaces for reflection, memory and a renewed sense of connection to the natural world.'

'Exploring connections to nature and the universe, I dive into phenomena that questions our reality. Through natural surrounds I look at energy which may be invisible to the naked eye, but felt through the heart. My paintings delve into our spiritual soul in the body through animals and landscape, finding everything around us is intrinsically connected. Moments are painted with stillness and reflection, examining our truth. Quiet glimpses of light and signs are offered to us while we weave along on this journey we call life.'
