This duo exhibition brings together two women artists from the Northern Rivers District of NSW.
Claire Yerbury: Paper from Wood
'In a forest nothing is ever finished. Nothing is even trying to finish-just motion without strain, action without intention. Ferns uncurl with thoughtless joy, roots crack stone with a blind loving will, scaffolds of wood fall, the ruins decorated then dissembled by hyphae, and canopies of epiphytes clamour to be one with the sky. Water flows. All ways. To stand in the forest is to feel time the way nature feels it-not measured, not urgent, simply unfolding and infolding. Everyting accomplished by doing nothing at all. Paper from Wood is a celebration of this.' Claire Yerbury
Dianne Ingram: Landscape Expressions
'I work from my home studio in Alstonville NSW, as well as outdoors in the bush and countryside wherever I travel. This is where my inspiration and expression comes from. These areas leave lasting memories which are later interpreted. My work comes from heart, mind and hand, which are all creatively connected'. Dianne Ingram
